my cousin got a custom aluminum diamondplate pickguard to go on his epiphone SG Special. unfornately he didnt know when he ordered it, it was fabricated for a
gibson SG, which just slightly different on pup spacing.
he couldnt return it, so we had to customize it. i used a bench grinder and had to grind it down in a few places to make it fit and smoothed some rough spots out with a dye grinder.
it worked though.
and looks great. not finished yet... i still have a few more things to do. here are some pics...you can see where the holes for the bridge are. had to move it over.
