Mean Street Guitars

Has anyone gotten a Mean Street Intruder guitar or kit? How are they in comparison to the Kramer 1984? Where does one go to get them "striped"?

i think you'll prolly have to stripe it yourself ,

it's kinda illegal now hehe ed and his lawyers get onto most evh copy guitar companys i think ...

your best off getting the kramer in my opinion !

HI,

the meanstreet guitars don't have the quality that the kramer does, the kramer has a real floyd, real shaller tuners etc etc but the kramer needs a setup when you get it
but also the 2 meanstreet guitars that I had in my hands needed major setups, but then again they are a cheaper line of guitar for those who can't afford more either one will work depending on what you want to spend.
Rol.

Re: Mean Street Guitars

I have a meanstreet unchained and rol is right in that they are cheaper guitars on a cheaper budget. I wanted a 5150 copy but didn't have the money for the kramer so I got the meanstreet, I am happy with mine but as you will see I added a more accurate neck.

Re: Mean Street Guitars

The sound is pretty awesome, I used painter's tape and krylon spray paint to paint the guitar, it was originally white.

I believe the Seymour Duncan Custom Custom is closest. But others have used PAF 59.

Why do they put the pickup so far forward? Ed's was very close to the bridge and they put them almost in the middle on those Meanstreet guitars.
