My first paint job....

And I think it came out great. Here's what I started with:

It was an Ibanez jumpstart guitar. As soon as I got my Wolfgang, I started experimenting with it. I originally planned to cut the pickguard back and paint it franky style. But when I took off the pickguard, I found this....universal routing.

So I said, ok, I'll fill it in, paint 5150 style, with pickgaurd like the franky. So I got some wood, and some wood filler, and sanded the crap out of it.

Once that was done, all was left was the painting, and this is how the finished product came out.

I'm really happy with it. I wasn't going for a replica by any means, just going in the style of. I think it's missing a little something at the bottom, so I might get some space tape for it. I plan to get a Kramer bannana style neck, Floyd, and Seymour Duncan Custom Custom in it soon.

Thanks for the compliments. It's a standard bridge, non locking. It's kinda shadowed in the big pic, and it has string savers on it, so maybe that's why it looks different. Yeah, I'll get another d-tuna for it too, I love the one on my wolf.
