Cool

Opinions

Well this summer I get to work my ass off, but I am getting payed and by the end of summer i should have around 1,200. Now these are the guitars i was looking at:

Alexi Laiho 600(LTD not ESP)
Pros: Fucking sexy, love the V shape, Neck through, Floyd Rose
Cons: Supposedly the fact that it is an Ltd makes it a con, 1 pick up

RR5
Pros: Looks good, great neck, 2 pickups, V shape, Neck through
Cons: No floyd rose, 22 frets

Dimebag Razorback:
Pros: Floyd Rose, Thin neck, 2 pick ups
Cons: I think it looks a little bit over the top

Yngwie Sig. Strat:

Pros: Strat neck, 1-12 scalloped
Cons: Single Coils, 1-11 scalloped, strat body

Yeah well thats it, right now it mostly between the Alexi and RR5 i just want some more opinions and thinks to consider, thanks.

How long have you bneen playing? The reason I ask is that if you are starting out, you don't want to spend that much on a guitar until you know more about what you want in a guitar since each of those are so different. Just a thought.

Well ive been playing for 2 years I practice on average of 5 hours a day. Im also exteremly dedicated, and my knowledge of the theory is also repectable. I have studied with Terry Syrek, Buckethead and Holdsworth, Ive got some recordings from last year but thats pretty much the only ones i have. And as far as what Im looking for my band at the moment is very guns n roses esque with more technical music i guess you could say. In the vein of Rust in Peace era Megadeth. And I just want to know out of those which you would consider the best all around guitar. But currently i'am stuck between the RR5 and Alexi. Personally I think the better guitar is the RR5 but theres something about hte Alexi model thats very appealing to me.
