hey. i got this guy last month:
and was thinking of replacing the pickups, until i decided not to, coz i rather make a guitar next summer and invest everything i have in that. so anways, i was playing this guitar in different kinds of distortions, and it was working wonders. and then i tried it on clean, and thought it sounded a lil too static-y.
i thought it may have been my patch chord, so i went on crunch, and turned down the drive knob to get clean, and it was working fine. then i thought it may have been my amp. so i tried my other guitar, and no, it wasnt my amp. it has to be my guitar.
unless its soemthing you expect out of humbuckers? my previous guitar had all single coils, and i never noticed that problem. if it is a problem, i can take it up to a luthier and get it fixed. he shouldnt charge me, coz i still have that warranty thing.
