Well honestly I would say all of them! But for me Hendrix, Rhoades, and SRV, all died way too young and had a lot more to grow and offer.

I'm past that stage of caring. If someone's dead, I usually believe their legacy should speak for itself. I honestly don't see Hendrix or SRV making good music today.

A lot. I'm a big Nirvana fan and even though Kurt isn't known for his guitar playing (nor is he a virtuoso) i wish he was still alive. He was a great muscian and i've always heard that he was always nice, especially to his fans. From your list here's my choices:

lots of musicians,
but i could imagine hendrix would be playing more lighter blues.
i miss him so much its unbearable.
