Question on the Coffin Case ATC-125 Universal Guitar Case - Guitars101

I've heard conflicting reports on this case, as to whether it will fit an SG or not, and because i was considering buying one I thought I'd ask u guys, any opinions on it's quality would be appreciated also. thnx in advance!

Sure it will. You may have to peel back the material and reshape the styrofoam to the SG.

I have a coffin case for my Jimi Hendrix signature Gibson Flying V and it gets great feedback from people. It is however, not easily placed in a small car. Sometimes I just bring my '69 SG in OEM case if I am going in a small car.

Also, I had an '85 V with stock Kahler tremelo and the only case I could find locally was for a V-II which has the smaller "V". I had to peel and shape the styrofoam and material but ut worked great and fit like a glove.
