Replacing stock tuining pegs
I have a Mexican Strat (Believe it or not, plays nicer then the American over priced Strat's I tried) & it's a bit old, had it since early 90's. Anyway, it's time for new pegs & I just bought a set of Schaller locking pegs.
My problem is, how do I remove the standard Fender pegs? These are not the pegs with any visable screws. It looks like I may just have to use a socket wrench and remove the washers from the top of the pegs? (can you tell I've NEVER done this before?)
I do want to do this myself & the pegs are on the way from Musicians Friend... ANY help would be greatly appreciated
