Second prototype 50% built comments please
Crappy images of second guitar that I am currently building. It has pretty much the exact same setup as the first one that is titled on this forum as "Firewood". I am much more excited about this one, because the initial plywood cutout was really dynamic. There is no doubt that I will ruin this one as well, probably around painting and color selection. EMG's and Hipshot Babygrand tailpiece once again. I would like to consider a little cheaper mockup with just one humbucker (non-active) and a bolt-on neck. My Les Paul has a Seymour Duncan JB4 which I really like. Any suggestions on a hot, non-active for a less expensive Metal guitar? I am still incredibly ignorant about guitars in general as these prototypes no doubt display. I just like to design. I would very much appreciate your thoughts on what I have mentioned as well as the overall design. I was going for "Kick Ass" Metal but probably missed by a mile.
