Well iv'e been looking at the trans trem for a while now and am thinking about installing one just for kicks on my old ibanez sometime in the future. I like the idea of being able to switch tunings with just flick of the wammy bar, but am a little hesitent on getting one.
1. Ive heard that they are extremely complicated to set up and maintain, plus changing strings is a chore.
2. Is there a way that i can install it where my old bridge used to be? Or will i have to get the edge cut out and have it placed at the end of the body like this?
