Re: steve vai archives

now thats just showing off with 3 necks! I mean Rick Neilsen never really played all 5 of his but I bet Vai taps with both hands and uses his tongue on one of them...thats sick shit for the rest of us mortals!

Re: steve vai archives

i've seen some video of steve vai using the 3 neck on his ultra zone tour in 2000-2001 and it was absolutely phenominal .. he used all three at the same time and all kinds of stuff .. he wrote a song for his ultra zone album especially for it called fever dreams .. it's a great song and it's an amazing guitar ..(the big heart 3 neck i mean)

i read an interview where he was saying the reason he wrote the song fever dream was to show off the guitar and use all 3 necks .. he was saying he felt like an idiot when he used it back with david lee roth because it was a prop basically and he only really used one neck and he didn't want to go down in history looking like an idiot everytime someone brougth up photos from that tour ! lol !
