I just wanted to make a dedication to Mikey here. IMO he has never gotten the credit he deserves, his contribution to VH has always been signature with his heavey driving bass lines and blistering background vocals.

You never hear a bad word about any member of the band come out of his mouth regardless of the situation, this shows a lot of character. He is happy to get up on stage and play with regular Joe's like us because he loves music, not because of a paycheck or because he feels he has to for any reason. VH should take a close look at his actions follow his example, if you can't do it for the fun of playing then there isn't any point. I'll join in the PRAISE MIKEY debate...he's an awesome bass player. In Unchained Ian spent ages getting some of the licks off and he's very experienced. Also don't forget THAT backing vocal which is a bitch to try and copy. He's a good guy and never gets the praise he deserves.

Mike gets my support as the most stable bandmember, a great rock-personality, an entertaining bassplayer and he's just someone who likes to play!

He's great as far as I am concerned. Take away Mikey's backing vocals and his thumping bass, and you ain't got the same song. Not even half the song...

The whole is greater than the sum of it's parts....

Fun is the first thing... sometimes I got call from my friends to play, without "money", and my wife just don`t understand why I got there to play for nothing... Is the same reason Mike play with the Punks and with Terry (HFT).
He don`t need money, just fun, and you can see the pleasure in his face...
You shurely have better musicians out there (will always be) but the feeling of Michael Antony, thats not easy....
