Re: Twisted Sister
I never really got into TS. Great videos though - grabbing the periphery cast from Animal House was pure genius.

Re: Twisted Sister
I know I will get it for this but I loved them, they were the shit! The prime example of 80's cheese and I couldn't get enough of it.

Re: Twisted Sister
believe me - there was plenty of 80's cheese that I love, TS just wasn't part of it.

Re: Twisted Sister
Hey, Dee Snider hosts the House of Hair!
That's a hell of alot more than Eddie has done in the last five years!

Re: Twisted Sister
I like "Come out and play", the opening song of the same titled album.....
I saw a scene is some movie (forgot the name) where the intro (the ticking) was done by a person who ticked two beerbottles to each other.

Re: Twisted Sister
Funny band, real entertaining. I WANNA ROCK. That song/video was awesome. I dug 'em back in the day and still watch the vids on "where are they now" kinda shows.

Re: Twisted Sister
Say what you will about these guys, but live was where they lived! In my opinion, they just never were able to capture what they were truly capable of on record. I saw them twice back in the 80's. Once opening for Iron Maiden and once with Dokken and Y&T, with Twisted headlining. Both times, they were completely over the top and put on a hell of a show. An incredibly good live band, they just couldn't seem to translate that to tape.

Not one of my favorite bands, but they did one sweet Christmas disc.... highly suggusted (in another 10 month)
BTW: Dee Snyder is on a new reality show, something about being made a country star. Curious considering few have waved the "metal" flag like Dee.
