Useful cheat-cheat when recording
I tried this the other day while recording at home.
I recorded a backing track in strereo (2 tracks) for a practice with ProTools.
Next I though I would try shifting one of the two tracks by a small amount of time, so as to give the illusion of a second guitar.
I shifted the left track forward until it sounded more dimentional and it's an easy shortcut to double tracking, not to mention that you don't need to bother with your timing... [img]images/smilies/woot.gif[/img]
