What do you really think of this cat? Quite obviously, he's no EVH (but who is?) but I think he does some very nice work on the Van Hagar tunes Sam usually sings in concert. On VHForums, he was crucified last year during the Sam and Dave tour but I thought he played the songs His Way without trying to clone Ed.

Also, I think he has a pretty decent sound. His warm tone levels out Sam's usual "thin tin" as I call it. Just my opinion, curious of others.
