does anyone know this guy ?

i checked him out after i saw him in the top 10 80's guitarists poll in guitar world a few years back and he's an absolute monster ! (ed got no 1 btw [img]images/smilies/icon_wink.gif[/img])

i'd honestly never heard of him till i read that magazine apparently he's pretty obscure .. he's absolutely brilliant and his tapping is amazing !

oh yeah and he's tasteful too .. not your average shredder writes some pretty catchy instrumental tunes too !

I read an interview of him maybe a decade ago. He said he used to play all the VH solos and stuff, before he started to do the stuff he does after that.

I never did a search on his music, but I'm curious about him.

I'll try to do a Kazaa on him......

I have his first or second album. His brother was the singer. Kickass guitar playing. I think he's with the Shrapnel record label, a label specialized in shredders.

Have you heard of Michael Lee Firkins? He was another good shredder. I havehis album too, from back in 89 I think.

He progressed from a Shrapnel shred head into an accomplished fusion guy....than he went on tour with N'Sync! How's that for a gig!
