Question

What is the proper name of this Fender?

Are there any Fender Strat experts here? Because I need help identifying this particular Strat:

Someone told me that that guitar is called a “Fat Strat” (one humbucker in the bridge). But what is the actual model name of it? And what colour do you think it is?

For example- Is it a Standard, a Deluxe, an American Standard, an American Deluxe, etc.?

And I think the colour looks to be chrome red.

I mean- Could this be it?---->http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...tar?sku=516039

Does anyone here know for sure? Any ideas, guys?

I look forward to hearing what you guys think. Thanks!

It's a bit blurry, but I don't think it's the one you linked. The trem on the one in the pic looks like the older trem bridge. The one on MF has the Synchronized Trem.

It's probably a simple HSS (Fat Strat). Could be any series. Short of having a clear, close-up, the details are too small and blurry to look at it's pretty impossible to know more than the obvious.

What's your particular obcession with that guitar?

The girl's name is Katy Rose.

But that's not the issue here. I want to know the exact model of that guitar so I could get the same thing. It looks awesome.

I've somewhat concluded that it's a Fender Standard HSS b/c it's the only one that comes in a midnight wine finish.

Could Be.....

A Roadhouse or Maybe what they called a Lone Star, late '90s excellent instruments with a pearly gates humbucker in the bridge.
