Where Can i Get Lemon Oil ?? UK - Guitars101

I just got myself a US Wolfie and need to sort the poor bugga out with a bit of TLC so where in the UK can i get Lemon Oil apart from some salad houses that suggest a dressing. Any Suggestions ????

Lemon Oil is basically sold as furniture treatment.You could probably buy it at your local grocery. Have a look in the household cleaning items area.

I found some at the hardware store. I'm thinking that the supermarket might have that too, where you find furniture polish and other cleaners. Make sure it's pure lemon oil though. You don't want additives in it.

If anyone has anymore suggestions as to cleaning the neck i will listen. I just dont want to spoil this little mother. It needs cleaning and re stringing and thats it. I got it for nearly nowt so its a sell on so i can get my EBMM EVH Signature.

I work just off Kings Road in London and all the furniture restoration companies i know have never heard of it.That aint no suprise as most of them on Kings Road cater for the tourists if ya know what i mean ???

That's funny. The Brand Name of the Lemon Oil I use on my Wolfgang is Old English Lemon Oil. You would think it would be a no brainer to find in England. Maybey try to search the web for that brand and you might find a dealer

Also, I just simply use a cotton flannel rag with the lemon oil and just a light scrubbing by hand of the fret board and the dirt and grim will come right off. The Wolfgang manuel says you can use a soft bristled toothbrush but if you keep up on it, that shouldn't be needed.

I swear to you that these ****ers here think its a Salad Dressing.
Teak Oil, Walnut Oil,Shell Oil but when it comes to Lemon Oil you get that ****er in an Italian Salad House.

Ill check the net im sure itll be somewhere outside of London

I have a Jim Dunlop Lemon Oil I got in a Guitar Shop in France....Maybe if you google it.

You can get it from Amazon in the US.
