where can send my guitar to get a floyd rose installed?


where can send my OLP MM1 to get a floyd rose installed? I read the other post and just dont have enough confidence to do it myself.

Starting at the neck, you need to route for the locking nut, and if not careful, you could shorten the length of the fretboard which would be very bad... Need to shim neck, if not properly shimmed you have action problems and setup issues. Moving to the body, if the pivot screws are not perfect, the guitar strings will be off of the fretboard. Very bad. May need to take out some wood from spring cavity, and could cut into pup cavity on other side of not careful. Other than that it's a cake walk [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]

Or you might never get the intonnation to line up either.....also very bad.

I've installed a couple....but get E.J. to do yours if you don't want to risk turning your OLP into firewood.
