Which Gibson SG would you buy?, Please help me choose one - Guitars101

Hello,

I won a poker tournament and want to buy me a good Gibson SG - I prefer the price would be > $2500.

I have found a used Gibson SG - the one with the title: RARE Beautiful Vintage 1964 Gibson SG Junior Guitar

It's got history and the few times I have tried to play a SG I loved it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dood, if your gonna be playing it a lot I'd walk away from Vintage. I wish I had that kinda money to buy guitars. You could get 2 or 3 for that $$$. But alas, if you wanna spend that all on one SG go to your local GuitarCenter or Sam Ash and see what they have. There are good prices and the sales guys will help you decide. There are a lot of SG models to choose from.

get a ROBOT SG. they just came out with green. you can get purple new old stock from 6 months ago. the first run was blue/silver burst and later the blue. used mint ~$2400 new $2750. push a button and the guitar tunes itself!!!! this shit is insane. also change to drop D or hendrix tunings etc. in les than 2 seconds.

you can get a nice used standard for 1500 or less if you look

Get a Special Faded. They're the best I've ever played. You can get another guitar with the rest of the money.
