Working on Randy Rhoads tunes
I've been somewhat tired of playing the same things lately so I studied two Randy Rhoads songs and they have taught me a lot of little things I can't begin ti describe. [img]images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif[/img]
I'm almost ready to record them and post them here. [img]images/smilies/icon_jam.gif[/img]
The first is the Dee instrumental which I will soon record with my accoustic guitar and add some reverb to try and capture the sound of the recorded song. I don't have a nylon string but it'll have to do.
The other song is Mr Crowley. There are difficult, very fast triplets and trills toward the ending that are challenging me a great deal but I've got the majority of the song down, safe these two hard spots. Should sound fun played over the backing track I found here a while back. [img]images/smilies/icon_jam.gif[/img]
That's how I resolved my little problem with boredom...
Stay tuned and sooner than later I'll submit these two piece to your review.
