ever heard of the holy grail knights or something like that? they opened for mighty Sabaton in Zaandam last year, they were the worst with costumes and fake dumbasslooking dragon and other shit, they hardly even played, also evanescence was a big fake, she can't even sing live, she playbacks and the band plays the same metallica bit over and over again during every song cuz they dont know what else to play.
I have also had some fucked up concerts in belgium but not due to the bands that played there but due to the fact that belgiums are the most boring people, you cant get a crowd going in belgium, they just stand there and thats it! please dont ever go there for a concert, I highly recommend holland, germany and finland, usually very enthousiastic crowds, but belgium? the worst! and I have seen several concerts there (dont ask me why I bother to go so many times) so I know what I am talking about (Helloween, Edguy, Iced Earth, Primal Fear, Iron Maiden)

Deep Purple Live in LA 1980 with only Rod Simper
There was a huge disclaimer at the end of the LA times AD that "the following members will not be present at the concert - Ian Gillan, Richie Blackmore, Ian Paice, Roger Glover, Jon Lord, etc. Only Rod Evanswas the original member (I think) and they had a ridculous scene where they used a chain saw to but a keyboard in half...

I'm a bit late with this thread, but Peter Hamill opening for Marillion on their Script tour. Boring or what. Totally bemused the audience. First gig I ever walked out of...Manowar. Plain embarrasing, but the support act Tobruk were quite good but a total mismatch. Anthrax run a close second for cheese.

Deep Purple - LA Forum around 1980-81
In the Los Angeles times calendar section for the concert at the forum there was a disclaimer at the bottom of the ad:
The following original members will not be performing at this concert:
Ritchie Blackmore
Ian Paice
Ian Gillan
Roger Glover
Jon Lord
David Coverdale
Tommy Bolin (yes, he recorded a live album with/as Deep Purple)
...and many other former members I can't remember.
The ONLY original member was Rod Evans, and he used the name to cash in. I didn't go, but one of the WORST stories I've ever heard is that they chainsawed a Hammond in half in the middle of a song and there was a mass exodus. It could have been the encore. I saw the ad and Ron Hilton (the Hilton Hotel Family) told me about how bad it was and how many people walked out. I like the original lineup, but this was a real joke - like spinal tap in a way

The worst concert I ever saw was Guns 'n Roses opening for Aerosmith at Merriweather post pavilion outside Wash. D.C. They were a complete disappointment. But I should add that I have lots of Guns boots and just caught a bad show. The best show I ever saw was Heart, believe it or not, and I've seen Priest, ACDC, ZZ Top, Van Halen twice, Metallica and so on. Heart delivered totally. A real workout,

Twisted Sister in 1986 in Essen, Germany. A totally boring Show.
UFO was Support Act and also the same Shit.
This nite was not worth the Money.
Otherhands, at the Arrow Rock Festival Twisted Sister kicked Asses. One of the best Shows I've ever seen at all!

My worst concert was Buckethead in May 2008 in Chicago at the Park West. It was a great venue, very nice, but too cramped on the dance floor which was too small for how may people that were there. That 1 Guy opened and OH MY GOD he blew me away, he played an insane show! if you haven't seen him live you must! After he played a 45 minute set we waited 30 minutes for buckethead to come on. I was excited but then i realized there was just him and a backing track. For an hour and a half he played straight over a backing track with no breaks or anything and it got boring after 30 minutes and lost all its energy. At the end that 1 guy came back out and they jammed to one 10 minute song but no encore after that. It was an awful show.

Ace Frehley 2009 in Hamburg!!!!
He was very, very, very uninspired and seemed extremly bored. He didnīt speak with the audience and left the stage as soon as possible. He played only the minimum standard, nothing more!!!
The pre-show from 16second stare was so much better!!!!
I was so sad, because Iīm a longtime fan of Kiss and Ace Frehley.

By default I'd have to say Lenny Kravitz. I saw him back in the mid 90s and he came out and played 3 songs and all the sudden disappeared from the stage while the band jammed for 10 minutes or so. Then some guy came out and announced that Lenny had "collapsed due to heat exhaustion"..... End of show.

It had to be the fake Fleetwood Mac tour around '74 or'75. This band actually got sued later on for pretending to be the real FM. They tried to play some of their songs and sounded at best to be a bar band that you wouldn't pay a dollar to see. A real bummer because I really loved the lineup at that time with Bob Welch and before Stevie and Lindsey came along.

A lot of ppl say that the KISS Hot In The Shade Tour was one of their worst. But for me it was amazing to see my favorite band for the first time and also see Eric Carr on his final tour before his death. RIP
But easily, the worst concert I ever went to was one my wife dragged me along to in 1997. Lilith Fair!!!! I had bought the tickets as a gift for her to take a few of her friends and my sister. It didn't turn out that way. She and my sister thought it would be lovely to make me and my sisters boyfriend Louie go as well. We eventually warmed up to it thinking we could wander off since we'd be just a couple of the few men there in a sea of ladies!! WRONG!!! At the gate to get into the amphitheater, we were hit with a wall of stench that was a hybrid mix of pot, pachuley, feet, ass, smelly pussy, beer, vomit and b.o. You could literally smell every single one of those individually when it first hit us. After passing through the gate, the girls wanted to sit at the center top of the hill a decent trek from where we entered but far from the stage. Once on the way to our "seat", Louie and I realized we were in a sea of hippie girls slash trucker lesbians. After the 15 minute hike that was gradually uphill, we set up a blanket so we could sit on our 45 degree angle facing the stage. What an atrocious collection of performers. 30 mins into Pat Benetars set and feeling like we were sliding down the hill, us guys went back down the hill to get some beers. Here's where the actual "Be careful what you wish for" lessen plays into the story. Yeah, we saw naked ladies making out everyone. But they were ungroomed, stinky, hairy naked ladies. Ever seen two smelly Sasquatches with saggy titties get it on before? Well on that day I did. So after we were capable of making it out there with our stomachs still intact, we arrived at the beer stand to find it right next to the stage. I mean it was so close, you could actually spit on the performers if you tried. At that very moment, Fiona Apple started her set. I don't think I heard a single word anybody within 2 feet of me said. So an hour later as Fiona Apple is wrapping it up, we get through the line to find out we're just in line to buy a ticket for the beer and have to get in yet another line to actually get the beer. WTF! So, as we get in the next line the Cranberrys come out and there goes having any conversation again after standing the last line for an hour without one due to the location being right next to the stage. Yep, we stood in line for the entire hour and 15 min Cranberrys set as well. Finaly with our beers in hand, back up the hill. Got there just in time for Meredith Brooks to hit the stage. Yippie!!! A few minutes later a sweaty, stinky, naked, drunk Saquatch fell on us. Right after, Louie and I noticed a couple of dudes playing hacky sack at the very top of the hill behind us and wandered over. We basically spent the remainder of the show there until Sarah McLachlin came on and I passed out until she was done. I think I showered with brillo pads that night and flushed my nostrils with bleach. Worst show EVER!!!!!!!

Aerosmith 1984 at the Cape Cod Coliseum. Tyler was a mess, then lost his voice. This is when the band was touring without Joe Perry and Brad Whitford. It was just not a good night.
