I think you'll agree with me that I've been VERY patient with this offer, and the repeated questions and ABUSE I've taken, along with 357.
The deal is that GUITARS ARE ARRIVING. They're being SENT OUT AS THEY ARRIVE.
I AM NOT AT LIBERTY TO DISCUSS QUANTITIES AND OR SHIPPING DATES FOR GUITARS. They ARE arriving and they ARE being sent out.
The bottom line is this: if you are NOT satisfied with the way you are being treated, or you do NOT want to wait, you CAN get your money back. All you have to do is contact info@357customs.com and let them know.
Further insults TOWARD me or TOWARD 357 will not be tollerated and will be dealt with SWIFTLY and SEVERELY.
If you enjoy posting here on the BLS forum, and want to stay here, STOP going after me and 357. If you have time in your day to try and insult me, don't waste your time.
On a side note...there's been a few really great people who have had mine and 357's back through all this...and those people are going to be GENEROUSLY rewarded from us. One thing I've learned from Zakk in the 5+ years I've had the honor of working for him. ****ING LOYALTY IS LIFE'S GREATEST TREASURE. THROUGH THE THICK AND THE THIN, YOU STAY LOYAL, AND YOU WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF. There's going to be some happy mother****ers out there very soon.
Time to start looking for the big brown truck again.....
Thanks Steve. "Stay loyal" and be "taken care of"? Wow, Chad never stops with the Bull****. Maybe he'll let those loyal fans buy a tablet PC for only twice as much as what it actually costs!

LOL.........I was just there reading the nice peaceful banter between you and Chad.
All I can say now is that I hope 357 and those involved will now realize that a lack of communication will kill your business faster than anything. If they had just kept us updated throughout, there would not be as much bitching as there is.
The other thing I think they now realize, is that the company spokesman (Chad in this case) gets the brunt of the bull**** when things go wrong.

Wow...so Chad is the victim here? I thought it was the guys who have been more that patient since their money is on the line?
We can point out all the BS about Chad being too busy shipping guitars, 357 not having enough folks on hand to ship guitars or choppers, or the bad pickups, or finally no guitars actually arrived to 357 yet from Epiphone. It's been one lie after another. This would certainly fall under deceptive trade practices for 357, and mail fraud. Chad told me to cancel my order and get a refund, like he really thought his opinion mattered to me or something... I was charged over $450 for three guitars 4 months ago, and everyone else who particpated was charged for goods not delivered and kept getting lied to. Even getting the crappy bike has been a pain. I want my goods OR a straight answer. I don't want lame excuses from some ass puppet misleading the consumers and pumping BS via the "offical" ZW news letters. Why should any paying customers have to put up with that? Chad should be fired as an embarassment to 357, and an embarassment to Zakk Wylde. He is as much to blame for people being angry about this as the company itself.
I told him if Zakk knew what a cluster f&^% he was running at the ZW forum, Zakk's boot would be so far up his ass that his shoe size would be imprinted on his tongue.
And then I was banned for not being respectful to Chad. Of course, I sent an email response "Who gives a f&^%? I only posted half a dozen times anyway." What a poser...

I never joined the offer, so no guitars waiting for me... but I followed some of these discussions with interest.
So This guy, Chad, says HE has been really patient... wtf???
If this were a transaction conducted face to face with a "real" shop, rather than internet, he would not have been able to get away with this.
The bottom line is that 357 didn't do as they did. The customers are ****ed, are worried, and RIGHTLY so. Sure, I would not condone abuse, from either part... but he doesn't seem to realise that his company is at fault, and that he should not talk as if he were doing a favour to his customers.
Does anybody thing they're (357) going to be out of pocket out of the goodness of their hearts?
It's business. That's all.
All I can see is that customer relations leave a lot to be desired...
I read people saying they'd think twice before buying from 357 again. I wouldn't even think it once. It would not even cross my mind.
I hope you guys get your guitars... I know I'll be jealous when you end up with a nice guitar for less than $200...

Well in all honesty I was only there for info on the guitars, which was like shooting frogs in a barrel.

I'm just waiting for word of someone meeting Zakk during the Ozzfest tour and telling them the horrible attitude Chad has concerning deals using his signature brand guitars when folks on the ZW boards question the deal. I'm curious as to what he would say....

I followed this from time to time also.....
I remember this "DEAL" when it first appeared....I admit I thought about it..I always wanted the Zakk Epi...but something told me it just seemed like a scam....and here many months later it still seems that way...
I do truely hope you get the guitars that you signed up for...but I see many more months of delays and ducking and avoiding in the future.
I am sure that these weasles know every nook and cranny to hide and slip thru and they have used them as so it seems....
maybe someone can show us they have gotten one of these guitars... it was mentioned that a few have said they have arrived around the web....might be another ploy to help buy time for the company....I mean I can post a pic and say "I GOT MINE" and no one would be the wiser...no one here knows me nor could they prove it one way or the other...Judging by past actions I would say that I highly doubt that anyone has gotten one of these guitars....or should I say any one outside the company....

I've been following the **** storm over this at the Slickdeals boards, and a user by the name of chokeu2 spoke directly with Daniel, the president of 357 today. He then posted this message on the Slickdeals boards....

Nor was Daniel aware of how nasty and insulting Chad had been towards people who were asking questions. He totally understands now, why, his people have been bombarded with questions. That reason being because of how those people had been treated.
I told him that Chad has said so many crazy, off the wall, threatening, and insulting things; that people have started calling them "Chadism's". And more importantly, they could be documented.
Because of this, Chad will no longer be the spokesperson for 357, in relation to this deal; according to Daniel. I do not know what that exactly means just yet, but he said that would be the case. He is not going to "fire" Chad as a webmaster, nor should he. Chad is good as a webmaster. As a PR rep, he is a train wreck, that is a fact. And Daniel acknowledges that.
So...
I pressed Daniel to tell me more about the guitars. He told me that they were not all ordered all at once for various reasons, and frankly; they were good ones. He has asked that I keep portions of the conversation confidential, and I FULLY intend to do so. He did this so that I would have a comfort level to be convinced about what he is saying. Daniel opened up quite a bit, and because of that, and what he said; I believe him.
That being said, I pushed for guitar ship dates. He was...
Dare I say it...
HONEST...
And said that he did not know. BUT, he is comfortable in saying that it will NOT be another couple months. Again, after all that he said to me, I am inclined to go with that for the amount of time that he stated. Which in the interest of not starting another **** storm, I will keep the approximation confidential because it is only that. An approximation. And Daniel does not want to set incorrect expectations again.
He apologized many times for people's expectations being set up, and then knocked down over and over again. He will ensure that Chad does not do that anymore. In my opinion, Chad did not do that out of malice. I think that he was doing that because he thought that it would cool the fires that had been stoked up. At the end of the conversation, Daniel knows that it only heated things up. For which he also apologized.
The guitars will be delivered sooner than later, and it will most likely NOT take more than another month. Daniel is in a tough spot for a couple reasons, and I for one, am not going to keep nailing 357. 357 now understands why things have become the way they are. They have taken responsibility for all of it, beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Daniel went as far as providing a means to reach him personally for any pressing questions that will not be answered. He has empowered me to be the "go between", and seek answers directly from him.
Thats the summary.
I'm going to take some time, and put some thoughts down, on the particulars that we've all been nailing. I just wanted ya'll to have some idea of what we spoke about.
As I go over all of this, I'll try to be more detailed in a later post
More later. For now... Back to work...
