To lighten things up on the Zakk subject, I enjoyed seeing him on the Tonight Show last nite. They sent some dude to Ozzfest for an interview segment with a variety of singers and concert goers...
At some point, the duffus is in Zakk's trailer, playing Candy Cane Lane with Zakk. Zakk then proceeds to pound on the board game as he's loosing to the pencil neck. He calls him names and tells him to get the F off his bus... Hilarious!
I wish he had done the pounding on Daniel's face instead...

Also check the comments about Zakk's recent interview on the new record. People are not forgetting that easy and there's a lot of animosity toward Zakk in the wake of the 357 Scam...

Chris A over on the ZW board interviewed Zakk last week. During the interview, he asked about the 357 deal.
Check out this page to read the story and hear the interview:

Not to seem like a complete twat here or anything but how could you guys actually fall for this deal? Didn't anyone here stop and think how is this actually gonna be possible for a chopper building company?? I honestl think that you people are partly responsible for your own loss, accept it your responsible for your actions and i think it'd be pretty fair to say that it was kind of an unbelievable deal they offered!!
On the subject of Zakk i don't see why people are moaning that he hasnt said anything...

Statement From Zakk Wylde Regarding 357
Beserkers, nobody is more upset by 357's unscrupulous activities than I am, and I assure you that I did not know about or approve any of these activities. That is why I have directed my attorneys to take all steps necessary to address this situation. I realize it has been frustrating for you waiting for information, and as soon as the attorneys report to me next week, I will update you with a more complete statement.
Strength, Determination, Merciless, Forever.
Zakk Wylde
Right there he explains that he did not know about it if you don't want to believe that its Zakk then thats your problem.
I've been a huge fan of Zakk for many years now and will continue to support him and following BLS. I can understand why people are pissed about this i mean i would be too if i'd been screwed out of that sort of money! But i just can't understand how and why you'd just straight away assume that it's Zakks fault, yeah ok sure it was from his website but how many bands actually have that much control over the web pages?! like anyone else Zakk hired someone to design and maintain his website, Chad, below is a statement from Chad if anyone hasn't read it...
BERSERKERS:
I have volunteered as the webmaster of zakkwylde.com for the past 2 years, and before that from 2001-2003. I acted as webmaster out of my love for Zakk and everyone in the BLS camp, and have never asked for or received any payment for my role.
Based on recent events related to the 357 Customs promotion, Zakk has requested that I resign as webmaster of zakkwylde.com, and in respect of his wishes, I have agreed to resign.
To clear up some confusion, I want to acknowledge that while I was acting as webmaster for zakkwylde.com, I was hired by 357 Customs to be its webmaster. I didn’t realize that this would create a conflict of interest, and I didn’t clear it with Zakk, his management or anyone else in the BLS camp. When Daniel Baugess asked me to post a promotion for 357 Customs on zakkwylde.com, I assumed the promotion was legitimate and would not be a problem, so I posted it, again without clearing it. I now realize that it was a mistake to not inform Zakk and his management of my dual role, and to post the promotion on zakkwylde.com without authorization.
I want you to be aware that I was also hurt by 357 Customs, as they failed to pay me as promised for the work I did for their website. I also feel 357 Customs has damaged my reputation and the reputation of my company, of which I've worked incredibly hard for the past six years to build ON MY OWN. Therefore, I plan to pursue legal remedies against 357.
It's been an honor and a privilege to serve as webmaster for zakkwylde.com.
Thank you sincerely
-Chad Dyer
I believe on the whole its mostly Chads fault and as he clearly points out in his statement above, he hadn't cleared it with anyone within the BLS camp as he calls it. So you people may want to think about all this 'f**k him', 'he sucks', 'twat' because i think it's pretty clear that it wasn't Zakks fault!

Chad Dyer, Daniel Bauguess screwed me, not ZW
Chad Dyer assured me this was " the read deal". This is the only reason I believed it was legit.
I don't have any reason to believe that ZW was involved other than the fact that "hanging" Chad was working for ZW at the time. The people responsible are Daniel Bauguess and his bogus company, 357 Customs(now defunct).
If anyone knows of anywhere else to find information about this scam, please post here or let me know.
I have filed with the BBB, and IC3, and I intend to file suit in small claims court if I determine that there is a chance of getting anything out of it. At this time, it doesn't seem likely. ZW is NOT going to buy us all guitars. Epiphone is NOT going to give anyonw guitars at cost. Chad Dyer isn't going to do anything but laugh at all of us for being fools.

1. It was promoted through the official website of an internationally known, multi-platinum, widely respected musician.
2. Companies spend money to make money all the time. A local car dealer where i live ran a promotion that promised a free truck when you buy a car...they delivered on that promise. Another one last month promised that anyone who bought a car from them in June, would have their car note paid off if it rained on the 4th of july...it rained, and all those lucky bastards got a new car for next to nothin'.
3. It was set up by an experienced scam artist. If he hadn't set up all the dominoes just right to begin with, nobody would have bitten the bait.
In retrospect, of course i wish i hadn't opted in...but it wasn't in any way my fault.
Hell, last year a friend of mine got in on a Superbowl pool at work. That's something fairly common that wouldn't raise any suspicion. The guy running it was a longtime, dependable employee...but when the day after superbowl sunday rolled around, everyone on staff who got in on it was shocked to find out that the guy skipped town with around $10,000 of their money.
