Always With Me (Satriani)

Yah I know, this song has been covered so many times the name should be changed to "Always Being Covered", but I figured I would throw it up here anyway.

I did this a couple years ago when I was first figuring out how to record and I know there are a few mistakes in it like the beggining solo notes are off a bar and the big pinch harmonic (you'll know it when you hear it [img]images/smilies/smile.gif[/img]) so it is not something I am real proud of, so feel free to bash away [img]images/smilies/icon16.gif[/img] I did make a few big changes to the outro solo and added some subtleties like the melody under the tapping bit.

I will never ever feel that way. And I have heard the original at least a thousand times. I have a guitar student who's boyfriend's step-parents had this song in their wedding! I don't know about that, but I'd maybe have it played at my funeral. [img]images/smilies/smile.gif[/img]

I know what you mean though MAB. It is covered a lot.

Great job TongueNGroove. There were a few parts that had some strange timing differencesfrom the original, but then there were other parts that were frighteningly close to how Joe plays it. Then there were a few licks that were tastfully your own additions. Definitely better than I can play it. [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb1.gif[/img]

Nice job[img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img], but I didn't know that it could be covered too much. A little like stairway to heaven, until everybody in the world with a guitar does it once it isn't finished. I think there are 3 people left to do it.
