Born To Be Wild
I tried to upload this track into the member created backing tracks forum but it wouldn't let me make a thread there. Maybe if Eric thinks it's worthy he can move it there.
Anyway here's my latest creation Born To Be Wild
I call this a Backing Track because I didn't put in any guitar solos. This is perfect for guitar players - because not only are there no solos, but I extended the solo section of the song by 4 measures. I also made an extended ending so you can solo along with it till the cows come home.
I hope someone will find this track fun to solo with - and I'd love to hear anyone go for it!
Enjoy and Rock On

Oh yeah Cactus were fabulous, mean blues rockers, and also when Tim Bogert and Carmine Appice split to form Vanilla Fudge, those were great too

Kool!
I did the vocal track in my car, at a near by park. I took my 8 tracker, headphones, mic and a cable - drove there - rolled up all the windows and sang as best I could. Weird huh?
It's true.

Really? Well thanks Linda! It's a hard song to sing, for me anyway. Some of those high notes are hard to grab.
Thanks again Linda and Bluesplayer! And thanks for listening.
BTW - Anyone notice that I changed the lyrics a wee bit??
