Damn dood, this is one of your finer attempts at replicating Joe. This isn't one of my fave Satch tunes, but I have heard it enough to pass judgment on your replication of it and I think this is really, really good. I'm not sure what you think needs fixing, but the whole things sounds like it stands on it's own, regardless of how note-for-note it is. Tone is virually identical. WTG!

I'm a big fan of this song but not this album particularly. I agree with KC; tone-wise, it's pretty much 100%...and the playing is very Satch. The bends are a twat on this one (not that I've ever attempted it but I can hear hardness!). Solo reminds me of Alex Lifeson on 'By-Tor...' until the tapping part.
Where was this recorded mate?

thanks alot KC..the main issues are the timing in 2 similiar points and the solo which is changing keys and it kinda hard to find the melody..i appreciate you comments especially when your not familiar so much and dont compare me to....but just listen to it on its own
LOL!...thanks Wah...i recorded this where im sitting now...its just a mike plugged in to my computer....funny you said that because i bought the tube preamp thing from GC and it ruined my recorded sound so im bringing it back and have given up on trying to make it any better...its good enough..right?....i really didnt find the stretches difficult...i dont know what you heard except its a little weak on the reverb and delay that hides the initial attack in the original...though i am aware of it not being perfect.....i will redoafter it soaks in...next weekend ....so any advice would be appreciated..thanks for checking it out

Sound and tone are great mate-don't change anything there. Just sounded like some prize bends to me. I'm doing a collab with pranavpahwa and the bits I've done have got some really tight bends on them so I've been cleaning my ears out with a hose!!!!

Amazing. I donut know if a critique from me, as a person who has never attempted to play this music, matters much but the playing, as always, is top notch and the whole production sounds pro. I cannot help you by nit picking particular phrases but I can say the playing and the recording itself sounds just great. I am curious, what tube pre did you try out and return to GC? I have a ART tube pre that I use on my mic then into my 410. I like it but I find a program like T Racks does a great job of adding that tube-like presence to a digital recording.
