Double Vision - Foreigner Cover
Here is my cover of this track. I did all the guitar work and vocals. I figure since I'm gonna be seeing this band live in August, I wanted to do a cover of one of their favorite songs of mine from them. I actually found this backing from a powertab file,, bnelieve it or not. i muted the guiatrs in it and used the rest. Hope ya all enjoy this cover. I k now I had fun doin this one.

Nice work m8, i would believe the backing is a PT file, but other then the drums the backing still sounds good
Great work though

Guitar playing was great Scott, but that BT has too go. Way to early 80sish disco vibe to it with that midi. I would love to hear this with better drums. Still, good job on your part

I have to agree with EJ. I am a big fan of your playing, Scott. The guitar work sounds great on this but the drums are distracting and cheesy sounding. I have a much better backing of this archived somewhere that I could send you. I hope you enjoy the show. I wish I could go.

I do like your rhythm sound on this , very tight distortion , what is your axe set up , that is a very nice sound . everything else here is moving along quite nice , I'm not too keen on electric drums but whats important here is that the guitar is delivering the goods , great stuff !!!!!

The guitar rocks on this. Lou Gramm is really hard to sing and I admire your willingness to go all out on it.

Thanks alot everyone for your replies. I agree with ya all that this backing has got to go. a guitar pro backing would be alot nicer to use,, but i couldnt find any.

Nice job, Foreigner is great. I actually like cheesy 80s synth drums but it doesn't match Foreigner.

Oh yeah, you bet man, and I believe just the same! You know, I´d hate this kind of stuff (of course I´m talking about the song, not the guitar player, who is always great to listen to, ) if I listened to it in another context, but just knowing someone posts whatever his guts feel like playing, done whole heartedly, gets all my respect! Bring it on, Scott!!
