Eugene's Trick Bag - Crossroads Guitar Duel


Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum so I thought I would introduce myself with my interpretation of Eugene's Trick Bag, otherwise known as the guitar duel from the movie Crossroads.
I hope you enjoy!

For that recording I used an Ibanez JPM P3 through a Johnson J-Station and alternated between the clean and solo setting.

For any live playing I have a Mesa Triple Rectifier that I run through 2 Marshall cabinets.

Will put on my site that my friend is guitar a playing!!!! When are you coming to florida?? LOL, I did find the tabs to it and getting her down give me a month on this I want to post when i get it down thanks for reposting its awesome

What delay is that sounds nice, I found an old Alesis Quadraverb i use to use bakc inteh day will have to clean off the dust and see how she sounds, still Im amased with this Great Job, I did find the tabs and working on method to do the arps; where as they go together easy trying to make easy LOL wish me luck

I used a Johnson J-Station for the recording. For the arpeggio part, I used the J-Clean setting and then changed to the J-Solo setting without making any adjustments to the delay speed. I just kept practicing with a metronome to get it up to speed (although the arpeggio part is played faster in the movie, that's about as fast as i could get it without adding in more sour notes).


Once you get it down, be sure to post it.
