Eugene's Trick Bag - Crossroads Guitar Duel
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum so I thought I would introduce myself with my interpretation of Eugene's Trick Bag, otherwise known as the guitar duel from the movie Crossroads.
I hope you enjoy!

Awesome, very clean spot-on take! Great tone too, what kind of setup do you play with? Welcome to the site!

Thanks DrCode!
For that recording I used an Ibanez JPM P3 through a Johnson J-Station and alternated between the clean and solo setting.
For any live playing I have a Mesa Triple Rectifier that I run through 2 Marshall cabinets.

Very good! I really want to sit down and work this one out. You nailed it as close as I've ever heard, 5 stars!
EDIT: I guess they aren't stars any more. 5 circles!

I used a Johnson J-Station for the recording. For the arpeggio part, I used the J-Clean setting and then changed to the J-Solo setting without making any adjustments to the delay speed. I just kept practicing with a metronome to get it up to speed (although the arpeggio part is played faster in the movie, that's about as fast as i could get it without adding in more sour notes).
Once you get it down, be sure to post it.
