i remember you
caught my wife singing this the other day so I hurried and cobbled this together (she doesn't sing often). I was able to persuade her (through begging, pleading and promises of doing work on the house) to sing it. it's a little rushed but i think she did really well. this is a rough mix am i on the right path? any comments and suggestions would be appreciated (remember she is not a vocalist) thanks

She sounds great! Please get her to sing some more. The guitars sound really great also. The drums seem a little weird or off somehow? It doesn't detract from anything though. Quickly put together or not I think you both sound terrific. Where'd you get the BT from?

hey this is pretty cool Bel the vocals sound very good actually. playing is good too.
What it definately needs some attention is the drum track. I don't know the original but the drums some a little bit at odds with the song. Also what the volumes on the different guitars - Although since I am not familiar with this track I may be way off here
I actually really like this - it is a very committed performance from your wife and the tune flows very nicely indeed.
Excellent Job!

she'll only sing if its like a jam and i'm playing with her so the vocals and clean guitar were recorded together simultaneously straight through then i added the solos and distorted parts. also did some cutting and pasting to add different effects to the vocals. you can tell her voice was tired toward the end. thanks for the circles we appreciate it, in fact she can't believe it because she doesn't like her voice.thanks for posting

thanks for posting! I used a guitar pro 5 file that i converted to midi for the BT. It's kind of a weird beat but seemed in time and i couldn't find a real BT for it. i spent about 2 1/2 hours on it (from learning it and converting the midi to finishing the solos) and like i said the vocals and clean guitar were recorded together straight through so that it was like a jam and then i did some cutting and pasting so i could boost the vocals in places.thanks again for posting

hey bel. She's great man!! You guys do some more! It's contagious...once you start going with vocals..it keeps flowing. Keep painting the house, fixing the sink, etc. so you can get here to post with you more!! Great job guys!

sounds pretty good. Gets a little rough towards the end though where you said her voice got tired. Lots of potential. guitars could be louder.its a cool post though, keep them comming
