Killer Queen (queen cover)
hi people,
heres my rendition of queen's classic hit: Killer Queen
i did all the vocals and harmonies and guitars
it was really fun tackling all those interesting brian may guitar orchestrations..and also all the cool phasing vocals (especially during the chorus) and harmonies heheh
i hope my singing doesnt ruin it all haha
anyways, heres my tribute to queen...
enjoy

The vox aint bad............miles beyond what I could try. On the backing vocals, you might try double tracking over and over to make them sound fuller. I read an interview with 10CC once where they said that they would double track and bounce sometimes over a hundred tracks to make the vocals full. You gotta admit it would be an interesting experiment. I thought about trying it, but 100 copies of my voice is just as bad as one.

Damn, Andrew, I gotta give you a couple of these guys --> .
I don't give those out very often, as I save them for when I really mean it.
One of them is for taking on such an ambitious songs (both vocally and guitar-wise). This is by far my fave Brian May solo "orchestration" (as you put it), and has served as inspiration for me regarding writing guitar harmonies. The other Bow-down smiley is for your performance. Granted this probably needs more work in order to attain perfection (if possible, doing a Queen cover), but what a great start! And if I remember correctly, you are merely 14 or 15 years old! Hell, I didn't even start playing guitar until 21. You are already light years ahead of me. Keep it up! Great job.
