Like this solo so much I have to post this ... a tom morrello solo


Here is my cover of a recent tune .. im not big on new music but when i hear somethin that strikes me like this solo did,,, i had to go and learn it. this is the solo fro audioslave's tune "like a stone" I love this guitarists unique style.. rock on all! [img]images/smilies/icon_jam.gif[/img]

Thats one of my fave solo's at the moment Scott! Definitely a whammy 2 in there I think! Excellent album and very clever guitarist...one of the best! [img]images/smilies/icon_jam.gif[/img]

thks all yes wahwah.. you know your effects.. same pedal i have... called a digitech whammy II pedal. glad you guys like this. thanks for the comments all.

Mab,, I used my Zoom 505 II processor,, my digitech whammy pedal,,, and my Fender american strat.. thats it. the backing is from guitar pro that i used. its midi backing but guitar pro works for me when i cant find mp3 backings.

That is one of my favorite solos on the entire "Audioslave" cd (great cd BTW) I also like the bluesy solo on "Getaway Car". [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]

ALL the work on that album is stupendous without doing any of the normal stuff that most guitarists do. I agree with you Top Jimmy-that solo on getaway car is awesome. Scott-I knew it was a whammy II cos I use one in VH tribute Unchained cos I ain't got a trem on my strat..the whammy is good for when I break strings on the Wolfgang or the Kramer. I have the same whammy pedal wahwah good choice my friend. here is a picture of some more of my effects that i have. as of now,, I am enjoying my Behringer V amp 2 processor. i love effects! here is some of em but not all i have hehe..
