David Paton sang this originally (bass player for Pilot). He went on to do a lot of session work, most notably for the Alan Parsons Project. It's a great, great song and you did an excellent job.
I recommend listening to some of Pilot's other music. Although they were one-hit wonders, they did about three albums and had some great pop-oriented rock songs.
Now I'll have this going through my head the rest of the night.

heh I think they've got the knack to revive some old classics WELL  must be old rockers  cos i remember em too  , wow thers so much older music that stands well in time
