Manhattan

hey guys this is an eric johnson tune manhattan .. it's just the opening minute or so . .cause i'm not even gonna try and attempt the rest just yet hehe

it's quite sloppy .. but i only started this yesterday so i'll get it alot smoother in time ...

the confusing thing about this song was every tab i had said something different ! so i just kinda melded them all togehter to try and make it sound alirght ...

enjoy !

Re: Manhattan

thanks wah .. this is my musicman on this track .. .

i might just chuck on some reverb thanks for the tip !

i think i'll use the gibson for the solo or maybe even the whole song once i get it together a bit more ... this track isn't easy ! hehe

i recently melted something on my 5150 so i'm having to use my little fender amp which gives a great clean tone

Re: Manhattan

i will work at smoothing it out .. damn eric johnson and his millions of chords ! as soon as i have more of the shapes done by memory i'll be able to cop it better i think.

Re: Manhattan

oh i strongly reccomend it !

people say he's not as agressive as say vai or satch .. but in some ways i like him better .. his chord work .. (like in manhattan i spose) is really clever and he does some devastating leads too ...

he came to my town a coupel of years ago and stupidly i didn't go .. hope he comes back !

Re: Manhattan

Stiglar, great tone and guitar work. I hadn't heard this EJ piece before - very jazzy and cool.

That was pretty cool. In a couple of weeks it will sound even better. Nice tone.
