Mrs. Supercharged 350 & Scott Parnell- Badfinger's "No Matter What"
I heard this song a few weeks ago or so on the clasic rock radio station at work,, and decided that I wanted to learn and do a cover of this song. I really love the chorus "chord changes" in this song,, cause it really puts this track a step ahead in some rock tunes with basic chords. I mean,, the chord progression in the chorus is F#,B,E,A,D,B,A.... then the second part of the chorus goes F#,B,E,A,D,B, then it tops it off with G,,, then it finishes at E. Thought I'd post this kiler progression for anyone whoever wants to jam this song. I am honored to have Mrs. Supercharged 350 adding her killer vocals to this track. Thanks again for your great vocals Mrs. Supercharged. Hope you all enjoy this classic rock tune we have decided to cover,, and I hope all who have never really heard this tune,, wil enjoy how some 70's rock like this can still stand the test of time after all these yrs. Just goes to show a young one like me even loves these older tunes,, and I wasnt even born when this probably came out lol.
LET 70'S ROCK LIVE ON FOREVER!

Great cover Scott and Mrs. SuperCharged. I never expected to hear a Badfinger tune here, but you guys added just the right amount of edge to the song to make bring it to the 21st Century. I love that. Lillian Ax did a great cover of this song in the late 80's or early 90's. This rendition kind of reminds me of that version.

cool song choice scott. i used to play this for years in a former band. mrs sc did a good job singing it but i agree with john that it needs harmony. at least 3 parts if not more. it was still better than the feeble attempt by the goo goo dolls. have john finish it and you will have a killer post so i'm going to say sounds great so far

thanks everyone, unfortunately I was born when this song was new and it was cool to do.
dayum JPF you just cant pass up a chance to mug harmonies. IMO i thought the harmonies were gay or i would've done them myself. It was a new take on an OLD song, but go ahead and sap it up JPF Scott thanks again
