My attempt at EVH's Beat It Solo...
Hi Guys,
Well, after SIN's awesome version of this classic, it gave me the idea to have a go. This solo is very special to me as it was what made my head turn to the guitar (away from keyboard playing).....I've always dreamed of going on stage and performing this to a crowd (sad ain't it!!!)Its never gonna happen, but the nearest thing is to post my attempt (and I mean attempt), I learnt this in two hours and recording whilst doing so, so not spent a lot of time practicing it. It gave my new axe's trem a nice run though Lol.Obviously its not note for note, tried to add my own venom into this too.
Anyways, its attached so have a listen and see what you think....Its my 1st EVH cover I've ever done so be kind....

Great playing, and that tone was sick! Finish out the guitars on the song and find a vocalist for it!!!!!

Many thanks guys and your comments, so glad you guys did'nt think it bombed....If I don't ever do another cover again, I'd be happy knowing I got down something that resembled this EVH solo.
