My video jazz guitar page

Howdy guys,

Just joined this forum yesterday. I am a jazz guitar player from the Netherlands. I have chosen to record videos rather than MP3s. That means the tracks were recorded in real time in one take.

I mainly play jazz archtops but I own a Strat and a Hamer Sunburst too for fusion, blues and rockier stuff.

The videos are in streaming format and any fast connection will have no problem with them.

Anyway, here's a link to my video page:

http://fivesharp.zippyvideos.com/gallery.z

Thanks for listening/viewing,

Dick

For some reason, (probably that I'm running on a MAC), I can't get the videos....

I'm really interested in hearing you play.....if you have your music in any other format, (mp3s) I'd love to check it out!!!

Here are some jazz clips (mp3s) of mine, if you're interested...

The Rosenbergs play Gypsy jazz. I'm more of a bebop player. I listen to guys such as Pat Martino, Jimmy Raney, Wes Montgomery, Tal Farlow and Joe Pass. And of course our national jazz guitar stars Jesse van Ruller and Martijn van Iterson.

You look young so there's still time to study jazz later. I played lots of rock and blues before I ever started out on jazz.

Thanks guitarfreak,

Dick

I see. Well, after all the picture is very small. I think you look much younger in that thumbnail!

I took my first jazz guitar lesson at the age of 38 after playing 25 years of rock, blues and pop. So there's still hope!

I studied hard and played a lot and within a few years I did some gigs with my ex teacher that got me started.
