My Video Version of Eruption...and then some....

Hi Everyone,

I posted a video that i made of me jamming through Eruption, some Spanish Fly and some of the little guitars intro...at the end i throw in a bit of my own stuff....

i find video taping a great way of studying your own technique for flaws....most of it's improved because i'll be the first to admit that i do not know it note-for-note, but it's fun to mess around with anyway...

i liked it but i think you should flick off some of the effects when you do the little guitars thing it gets real cluttered quite easily when your pedalling the top note like that ....

unbelievable stuff though !

damn!! thanks guys! i had no intentions of playing little guitars when i recorded it, but it kinda hit me when i was playing the other eddie stuff! thanks for taking the time to listen...appreciate it!!

Mighty VH, you are doing an amazing work on this solo.
Thanks for sharing. It will also help me trememdously through some parts on Eruption, if I decide to try and tackle this sucker some day.

Thank you Scott and gss...I have to tell you that listening to you guys and everyone else on this forum has really inspired me to try and tackle things I ordinarily wouldn't do. You are both great players and I've gotten inpiration from all of you....

Thanks Canyon, I'm so glad that the vids can help you out...The band and I put in a huge effort to try and capture the spirit of The Mighty Van Halen and its great to hear that people are digging it. Thanks again and good luck with eruption....i'm sure you'll nail it!

By the way, I put up some videos on the bands site from last Saturday night from a club called The Downtwon here on Long Island....great crowd, packed house and had a blast....feel free to check em out....the link is under my name...

Hey whats up EddieMan! actually i was in a band called the atomic punks, but not the one with ralph....they are based out of LA and we were based out of NY. i'm a new VH tribute now called The Mighty VH....we actually played with ralph and russ' other band Metal Shop recently....i appreciate the compliments but I must give russ props...the guy is scary good! i've seen all 3 players from the punks live....bart and brian with DLR and russ with metal shop and i was most blown away by russ....he's a real pro....but man...it's a compliment even being compared to him...Thanks Man!!!!
