how bout a little more volume on your singing level and slightly tone down the level on the guitar...your voice sounded good on this song from what I could hear.

Thanks
Well thats the thing I thoght that it would be better to keep the vocals lower so that it it is not so obvious I cant sing
But yeah I could have lowered the instrumental tracks. Oh, well -- I deleted the project (audacity) so .. and I dont think i can sing it one more time as good as that (dont laugh -- thats the best i can get)

This sounds really good KurtCocain!!! I'm a huge Nirvana fan, and I think you did this song total justice, including the vocals. The vocals definitely sound better than some of the live takes I've heard him do, although live he did it in the punk rock version. If you ever do anymore covers of them and are looking for some vocals, let me know. I'm not a singer, but Kurt seems to be the one singer I can come close to. Really great job.

I'm definitely up for that. Especially now... I hurt my hand, so I'm off the guitar for a couple more weeks. PM me with any ideas you plan to work on... just my own sidedness, but anything from Bleach would be kick ass, especially school, love buzz or negative creep. Give the folks here a chance to hear some of the Nirvana they probably missed.

Hah.. I am working on.. not too much time to practice but sometime soon I should be able to have a Come as you are cover. right now I am getting familiar with some recording software so Im exploring and overpiled with things I dont know.. I am after some nice live/stadium like sound . Do you guys recommend any particular software thats not too complicated ?
Love buz is kinda hard .. I am only abeginner guitarist. And also, I dont have backing tracks for neihter of the songs u mentioned.
After I finish Come As You are (maybe this weekend Ill record) then Ill probably shoot for About a girl.

Cool... Let me know how you make out. I hear you about the BT's. I'm not sure on the software end. I use a zoom MRS workstation, I mix everything there and just use my pc to pull the mix in as an mp3 or wav. I'm up for some collaboration if you're looking for some vox. I'll wait to hear from you. Just a heads up, I'm pretty swamped for the next week or so. I may not be able to turn it around fast, but I'll definitley work on it.
