Very nice version, killer rhythmn! You nailed the rhythmn parts + the tone. However, on the intro- the tone had too much gain and sitortion, it wasn't iron maiden like, just lean off of the gain and put some more mids, listen carefully to the intro in the actual song and you'll figure it out. The solo was very good, but same problem with the tone- more mids, less gain. Overall it was a great cover, nice backing track. BTW- who did the vocals? And could you please send me the track' along with your other maiden tracks? And I thought that maybe we could team up and do a 2 minutes to midnight cover+someone on vocals, PM me and we'll talk about the cover.

Nice job. Great vocals! Sounds like Dickinson. I thought you were getting a V-amp Tony?

Loved the solo's mate but agree that the beginning doesn't have that neck pick-up sound that would make it sound more authentic. Rest of it is great tho.

Fantastic playing and singing!!! I can't say anything about intro tones because it sounded better than anything I've been able to come up with. My pickups suck.

Solo was superb, very Maiden...vocals were dead ringer for Bruce.

I take it you mean Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck??? Well no mate, it's a Seymour Duncan Hotrails thats in my strat but it does need a neck pickup on that one. I reckon Dennis Stratton with his Les Paul prolly did the honours regardless of what the album says!

thank you for your comments, I agree that the intro and solo has too much gain, its all still a learning curve for me so I now know for next time.

Are you trying to open a can of worms? Stratton was 2 albums back. Tell us what you know!
