Cool!! Love that track! What gear have you got? I love the tone that you have for the rhythm stuff - it really fits the tune! Good tone on the vox too, you have a damn good voice, just needs a bit of "something" to polish up the sound, perhaps some mastering in Ozone? Good job man!! Like it!

I assume this would be Sabbath? Not sure.

Good effort. Cool double tracking for the vox too.

Thank you thank you. My set up is really a hodge podge of stuff. I know what you mean about the sort of unpolished way my stuff sounds. My recording set up is very makeshift. My living situation really prevents me from going all out with it.

Um.... on this particular track the guitar I played was an old Jackson Stealth. I ran it through an equally old Zoom processor into the recorder. My Marshall took a dump on me, and there really is no point in me having an amp right now. So the Zoom is gonna be it. The little clean part in the intro was through a Boss Acoustic Simulator pedal. That's pretty much it. I appreciate the kudos on my vocals. I'm pretty self conscious about them As a result, sometimes I bury them in the mix, and sometimes I get nervous while I'm tracking and I get off pitch and just say the hell with it. I do honestly think I'm somewhat a decent rock singer, but there's always this lingering doubt. Thank you for building my confidence.

CanyonCarver...Seasons in the Abyss is a staple song of Slayer's music. I think it was originally on the album Reign in Blood.

That is correct, except the song comes from the album of the same name, the second following Reign....
