Cheers mate... If Back In Black haven't found their man yet, you better get Mrs Supercharged a ticket to South Shields Paul!

Too bloody right mate! Karmen, you got one helluva set of pipes girl!!!

And Chris, sounds like you got another tone for the locker to go with the VH and (your favourite) Gary Moore tone - AC/DC to a t!!

Pleased that I'm getting the tone of the REAL owner of AC/DC, Malcolm...after all he is the guy who comes up with the main riffs for the songs!

Cheers all.
I think it rocks m8, your right I do like originality in covers but I dont stray to far myself, well maybe sometimes lol,
But I still try and capture the originals magic, but saying that I love players also
nailing styles as you do, it takes great dedication and practice to nail style after style.

Its just a personal thing for me really, I feel I always have to defend why I alter tracks and make parts of them my own.
I take on an attitude were I say, What would I have done with this solo and that part so to speak.
Not that I feel I can better the original, its just a creative thing I guess.
I have fun with them.

But as I said I love players getting it bang on just as much as I like originality.
Its all cool to me, wether I like the music or not.
Its just when people penalise you for doing your own thing I cant understand.
For example, a guitar Solo battle, 1 plays note for note and 1 does his own thing.
The note for note will win all the time, yet he has copied the solo, the other has created a new one its difficult, its opinion at the end of the day.

Your tracks are always bang on m8, those bends in this really shout out Angus, and that Tone shouts Malcom
those vocals are awesome aswell, its simply a quality post m8

As Usual from you m8

You never disapoint lol

But it does interest me what a guy with your abilities could come up with
if you were to create a Chris take on things.

Cool job tho m8
look forward to the next track

Sorry if I have rattled on a bit lol

stay cool
Bully

Cheers guys. Bully, I got 10 new unreleased Black Rose tracks that are all me mate I always go for the throat with my own stuff-I just don't get the time to write, record and play it and, when I do, not many people bother listening to it in the Original section! You're right, most people seem to want covers? Not sure why?

I suppose when I'm playing something like this, I think that people will feel I've copped out if I haven't played it note-for-note. It's what killed me off being in tribute bands in the end cos half the ****ers would love it and the other half hate it...the more respected the guitarist, the harder time you got!

Thats what I mean m8 its a wiered senario, you have to just say **ck em Im gonna do it my way and if ye dont like it fair enough

I've come from a drummers point of view I suppose, with being a drummer first, maybe I have a different outlook on things,
or maybe thats Bollox or I'm weired lol.

As for coping out regarding not playing note for note,
Guitarists do seem to have a certain outlook in general about how things should be done, its interesting to say the least.
I no what ye mean about when you try and copy certain guitarists,
as you said it depends on what guitarist your copying to how much hammer your gonna get lol

Wether its note for note or not, if you like it thats all that should matter.

Tell ye what would be cool tho m8, take a DC track and play it as you think Van Halen would play it, now that would be interesting to hear lol
take any track for that matter and play it in another guitarists style

Im not good enough to do that, but you would pull that off.

Just keep banging them out m8 I will always have time to listen to your stuff

The way players see how things should be is as interesting as music itself.
If we all saw music the same way it would be as boring as hell lol

By the way m8 I'll set some time aside to listen to ye Black Rose stuff.
Im sure Im in for a treat.

stay cool
