Smells like a good try so far, the recording techniques make it suffer somewhat, it sounds like just a mic stuck in a room. If so, try to get some more mics and a mixing board and have another go at it.

U r good ! Thats exactly what it is. Its actually my headset stuck near the amp. The thing is if I put it directly in front of the amp -- the sound breaks its totally unlistenable. So I have to put it on the side a little awy from the amp. Its even work if I have to record vocals (not in this cover) -- I have to record he guitar. Then I play the recorded guitar and stick the mic b/w me and my speakers and == A LOT OF HISS and bad sound quality. But I do not want to spend money for any equioment -- I just got acepted at George Washington University and my tuition is $6000 per semster ((, aside from renting, food, transportation ...

What, you're going for an education, when you could just sit in your room all day and play guitar.........what's this world coming to? Seriously good luck at GW, and keep rockin.

hey there...good effort...do you have recording software...???..if not there's a free one here...http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ there are several out there on the net...you can import the backing track onto track #1...then rcord your guitar onto track #2...and vocals on track #3...with a little practice you'll get all the levels worked out...

you don't even need an amp these days...the majority of people use some sort of amp simulator/effects pedal such as gnx3 or line6 pods...etc...the results will amaze you...as for that tuition...ouch...!!!...
