Re: Somebody Get Me A Tuner...
It's just a matter of concern for me. If I can't trust my ears to let me know whether or not it's in tune, then what hope is there ?
I just don't know what to do if I can't trust the tuner or my ears...

Re: Somebody Get Me A Tuner...
If you can figure out the tunes that I've heard you play by ear then you should be able to tune by ear also. Try to work with it for a while, give it some time and it will come to you

Re: Somebody Get Me A Tuner...
Don't worry mate-come round in the next month or so and for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING we'll work on getting your ears sorted out. Someone said that you would also benefit from hearing it thru a POD or similar and I agree...you're not a bad player Mond so stop worrying.

Re: Somebody Get Me A Tuner...
Heh heh heh. Well, I am gonna go to the doctor's and get my ears tested and see if there is anything that can be done for me nowadays. There couldn't when I was younger. Plus, I can pop it all on the Private Healthcare if it gets expensive.
ericgtr, everything I have learnt is pretty much by tablature or someone showing it to me. Very little can I pick up by ear.
Yeah, I'd love a POD, just gotta wait for a while now.
Wahwah, cheers for the offer, but you'd soon get frustrated once you see how bad my ears are !
I'm playing through a Valvestate VS-15R amp. Not the greatest by any stretch of the imagination.
