SRV tightrope solo

Here is how I play the solo to tightrope....and again, critiques on the recording tone please- this time I went straight thru my twin with my tube screamer in front, mic'd with a audio technica atm29he

Nice job. I like the tone, but it's lacking a little in higher frequencies. For some reason it kinda sounded like you had some flanger or phase shifter in it (very lightly). You only mentioned the TS. It also cut off abrubptly before the end of the solo, was that how you recorded it or is my dialup causing me problems again?

well you hit all the notes but you didnt play with any feeling. srv plays with so much feel, thats what makes him great.

Yeah, I just cut it off to conserve space and that was the end pretty much- and I recorded this after being awake for about 24 hrs- I hope that's why I was missing the "feel"....
