STILL IN THE DARK
Here is our take on Still in the Dark from the Guilty Gear X soundtrack. Soul Reaver did an incredible job on rhythm guitar and did a few fills too. I did the rest of the fills, harmonies and solo. Cant say enough about the pro job he did. Soul used ESP EC-1000 Deluxe and Line6 PodXT. I used the Zakk LP & V-Amp Pro. I used mixcraft and Ozone 3. This isnt note for note. In my opinion this kills the original! You definately need to turn this up!!!

**GAME INFO**
For those of you that are unfamiliar with Guilty Gear, some background on the games & soundtracks.
Daisuke Ishiwatari mixed his love of 2D fighting games with his love for manga/anime, rock and metal to create a cult hit fighting game in ’98 titled Guilty Gear, which later became a franchise. the game’s loaded with musical references like the character Axl Low, who’s based on Axl Rose, a female character named Millia Rage, a homage to the band Meliah Rage, and attacks such as
Iron Maiden, Ride the Lightning, Napalm Death....etc. in particular, the game includes numerous references to Queen, Daisuke Ishiwatari's favourite band. Ishiwatari originally voiced Sol Badguy (whose real name is Fredderick, ala Queen's lead singer
Freddie Mercury), a leading character in the game whom the manual describes as an avid fan of Queen. The name "Badguy" might be named for Freddie Mercury's solo album Mr. Bad Guy).
in ’00 Guilty Gear X, the original GG’s sequel, was released and with it came its soundtrack which is one of the best video game OSTs ever. my top 3 tracks from GGX are “Awe of She”, “Still in the Dark” and “Meet Again”, the latter wasn’t included in the soundtrack for some reason.
