Strokes - 12:51

Hey everybody, I'm not really a big The Strokes fan, I just happen to really like the opening chords, and I figured since the drums parts sounded easy, and the vocals are in my range (I am NO singer, believe me.) I figured why not use this as a test of my new recording setup.

My "studio" consists of my Mac mini, an M-Audio FastTrack box and a Shure SM-57. Very expensive setup

For my gear, I used my Vintage '72 Competition Mustang, through my Boss GT-6 in to my Twin Reverb.

Oh yeah, I suck at drums, especially midi keyboard drums, but they're just there to add some fullness and depth to the track.

Click here to listen to my crappy cover.
