WAH DOES \'I\'M THE ONE\'...getting Eddie out of my system!
It's my final gig with UNCHAINED this Friday in London...I'm gonna post a 'thing' for it in the Lounge to TRY and get people along. I'm going cos' the turnouts in the UK are frankly SHIT! No-one seems to want to see a VH trib. I hope both Unchained (who have a new guy in the wings) and Van Hielan prove me wrong and start getting the crowds in but I've done the tribute market for 3 years now and it's at an all time low for attendance. Anyway, as I won't be doing an 'Ed' anymore, I thought I'd get it out of my system and play along with this backing track that someone kindly posted. It's got it's faults (it's not in Eb, the middle section where the 'barber-shop' bit comes in is shortened and the ending doesn't slow) and I have mine (I did it in a hour flat, the timing could have been better) BUT the POD xt once again came up trumps with the Eddie sound IMO. Anyway, call it a parting shot at playing what is probably my fave song to play cos when I learnt it I smiled after the HOURS of listening I put in. ANY UK people living close to London...get yourself down to The Standard in Walthamstow, London E17 THIS Friday 2nd July and enjoy all the classic tracks from the first 6 VH albums! Ummm, which setting are you using wahwah ? Is it the Eruption setting preset ?
Or were you messing around with custom stuff on the POD ?
