I'm gonna have to re-do that mate-sounds messy as hell now it's up! You can tell I was having problems with the top E and B cos there's no sustain there...back to the drawing board-but not now!

Hmm...Eric? You got an icon of a tumbleweed I could use??? 11 downloads and NO comments...guys, I rely on you lot to tell me where I'm going right and wrong. Give me some feedback-negative included if you think that. It's not like I think I'm Stevie- (ego not included with this model) I just had a shot with the new toy! Re: wahwah\'s take on Steve Vai\'s FLG instrumental.
Fook me ! This is wicked ! You have the tone spot on, and I can't see anything wrong with it !
Okay, you do confess to not being Steve Vai, but who would. But damn, you are close, and the whole thing flows nicely. Very difficult to tell which ones are your own fills.
Sounds natural to me. Oh, just hit 4:19, where he seems to be a bit more squealy than you are, if you get what I mean
Anyway, you play it very well. Some great runs and fills, and like I say, very tight. I really enjoyed this. Man, you can play wahwah. You got other guitar talents up that sleeve that you are not confessing to ???
That's what I think anyway, 'appen everyone else is a little more judgemental than I am ???

Re: wahwah\'s take on Steve Vai\'s FLG instrumental.
Thanks mate but I'm gonna re-do it if I can borrow a spikey Ibanez thing cos you need the floating trem to do the 'brrr'thing that he does(play a note and put the trem down and let it spring up by itself) and the sound was not too hot. I'm learning tho'and I'm pleased with the next one I'm putting up cos I actually MIXED IT AND LISTENED TO IT!!! Thats a rare one for me I'll tell ya! Check it out in tributes.

I have an RG 470. Dunno if it's the spikey Ibanez that you mean
Anyway, I liked it...
