You're VHoholic in the amp forum! I listen to that clip the other day on the HC forum. Sounds great, but I'm a marshall guy and I like your marshall tones better. I love your playing on all of it but I like your '70 marshall the best!

Nice sound depending what kind u wanna play..but for lot of style ur sound is pretty good..by the way i like the little 42 sec to 46 sec part in your solo, it rox....

Sounds great! I use a 5150 with 5150 4 12's and it's not different to the Marshall cabs at all imo. It's the type of sound I like...VH, Ratt, Zakk! Stingin' tone!

Your tone is "effen" amazing. Have you modded your amp or swapped out the tubes? If so, what modifications have you done (bias?) and which tubes? You rock! [img]images/smilies/rock.gif[/img]

Thanks bro! [img]images/smilies/smile.gif[/img] I haven't done any mods at all to it. The sound really changes for the better IMO with the Marshall 4x12 cab. It's just bone stock. As far as tubes go, i just have the brand that Peavey puts in them. Not really sure what they use?? I'll have to check that out.

After hearing your tone, I'm ready to go out and by a Peavey 5150 right now. Would you recommend the 5150 head and cabinet from get go - or getting the 5150 combo then adding a cabinet? If you had to do it all over again, which way would you go?
